Last week in Múinteoir Majellas class we planted strawberries and bulbs. I planted a tulip.

 

 

We went out with Múinteoir Majella to do some outdoor planting. John helped us and we planted lots and lots of bulbs. I planted an iris and another tulip and it was lots of fun. We dug lots of holes then we looked at all the strawberries and turnips we each took a strawberry home to plant. The holes were 10cm deep. We marked 10cm on our stick. We checked it by holding the stick against our fingers. The space between a thumb and a first finger is about 10cm. We found that out when we were planting in pots and guessed and then measured 10cm and 15cm.
